Hotel and Leisure
The Leisure team operates within Corporate Banking Britain and has responsibility for generating business and managing the relationships with all companies across the UK that operate within the Hotels, Gaming and Health & Fitness sectors. The only exception is companies backed by venture capital investors, which are handled within a separate Acquisition Finance team.
Our goal is to use our knowledge of the sectors we cover to provide a first class and responsive service both to existing and new clients through the provision of sensible and well-structured financing solutions.
Based in the City of London, the team comprises a broad range of experienced banking professionals, including some with over 20 years experience in the City and, more specifically, over 10 years focused on those leisure industries on which we focus.
We take a proactive approach with our clients, dealing directly with many senior executives and are constantly looking for ways to add value, often by bringing to their attention potential investment/acquisition opportunities. We take a partnership approach to our business and have established strong and reciprocal relationships with many of the major financial institutions active in our market.
In recognition of our sectoral knowledge and the support and commitment that we have provided to numerous companies over many years, we have successfully been awarded Mandated Lead Arranger positions on a variety of high profile financings, most recently on those for London Clubs International plc and William Hill plc. We provide a broad range of debt and financial services to a wide variety of clients, ranging from smaller private companies to much larger publicly quoted entities.
We have recently completed transactions for the Churchill Hotel, Gala Coral, Hilton Hotels Corporation, Inspired Gaming, Ladbrokes, London Clubs International, Orient-Express Hotels, Virgin Active and William Hill.
